Summer is here, as news that the Southern half of the Uk will be hit by pollution from EU countries tomorrow from EU countries. Instead of basking in the hot weather tomorrow, Brits are being advised to stay indoors to avoid the effects of the pollution, which could last for four days. Wales is expected to be the worst affected before drifting north into Friday.
A moderate pollution warning has been put out, although it is expected to peak this Sunday.
The warning advises anyone who suffers breathlessness, asthma, and other lung problems, or those with a weak heart, to avoid breathing in the smog, and also resist taking part in strenuous activity. Some warnings are actually urging people to stay indoors. The pollution is expected to spread over on Friday and Saturday, but a second wave coming in from the continent on Sunday will reach as far north as the Scottish highlands, sparking high pollution alerts.
High pollen count warnings from the Met Office will also be sounded, spelling bad news for hayfever sufferers, who are likely to experience worse symptoms. London, Liverpool, Devon, and many parts of the country, are expected to be particularly on high pollution alert. However, most of the country will ignore this advice and choose to bask in the hot weather predicted to be hotter than Ibiza. There is nothing like a hot summer day in England. People relish it incredibly because of the usually unpredictable and volatile weather we have grown accustomed to during the year. Beaches and bars will be overcrowded and much of Britain will party like its a weekend. However, the caution to be careful should be noted to whatever degree possible.
