CONVICTED KILLER OF LEEDS STUDENT WROTE ON WALL WITH HER BLOOD

BY JAMES SIMONS

The man convicted of killing Leeds student, Meredith Kercher, has told a television station he wrote in her blood on a wall in an attempt to “understand” what she was trying to say.

Still pleading innocence, Rudy Guede – serving a 16-year sentence for the murder of the 21-year-old student- claimed he had found her bleeding and fought in vain to save her life. In a strange twist, he said the room had been staged to make it look like a burglar had broken in. ”A brick was thrown through the window”, he added

DEAD

Ms Kercher, from Coulsdon, was found dead in the apartment she shared with her flat mate American Amanda Knox in Perugia, Italy in 2007. Knox and her boyfriend were said by at least one witness to have been seen running away from the scene. Police noticed from phone records of the pair that American Knox and her boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, had stopped sending texts to each other shortly after that and discontinued all activity on their phone around the same time. Police also said that Knox, who alongside her former boyfriend served four year in jail, had not behaved like an innocent person grieving the loss of her friend. She did not even put on an act of any kind. to appear upset.

TRIAL

The pair were put on trial five times for the murder, but were finally cleared of any involvement in March. In an Italian TV interview from his prison, Guede, 30, claimed that he was in a bathroom at the apartment but suddenly heard a “heart-rending cry” and ran to the student’s aid. The convicted killer said: “At that moment I see Meredith on the ground and an abundance of blood. I go to the bathroom and take a towel and try to staunch the wound in the neck.
“I take another and then another… It was heartbreaking that moment, you try to do the best…
“She was trying to tell me something. I wrote in blood on the wall to even understand… fear overwhelmed me.” I cannot get another day in prison for killing Meredith… Justice for Meredith has not been done.”

Sollecito and Knox were eventually released from prison in 2011, and Knox thanked her family and friends for their enduring support before immediately leaving the country for the U.S the US, where she has remained since then. Knox’s version of events has never been fully convincing in terms of her innocence from the set of events that climaxed in the brutal killing of her friend. Speculation has always been spread across many theories as to what actually happened that fateful night.

SEX GAME

One of the prominent theories was a sex game gone wrong that ended in blood shed when late Meredith refused to comply with the rules of the game, and was forced to do so. Consistent with the theory is the suggestion that she threatened to report her grievance to the police and tempers flared and got out of hand. Another is that she had really annoyed more than two members of the group and they all set on her during a drunken night out. All is speculation, but fact is that she was jumped and butchered wickedly to her death.

BATHROOM

Guede claims Knox was definitely at the murder scene. “I clearly recognize her voice,” he said, “101%.” Guede was well known to police as a local drug dealer and was arrested after cops found his bloody fingerprint at the scene.

Guede’s allegations come too late, he should have said all these early. Only months ago, Amanda Knox and her Italian ex-boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, ended a seven-year legal battle against Italian prosecutors. He told an Italian reporter he had been kissing Kercher on the fateful night but went into the bathroom when he heard the bell ring.

“While I was doing that, I heard the bell ring,” Guede said. “Meredith opened the door, and I heard the voice of Amanda Knox coming into the house. They started arguing. Earlier on Meredith complained about her stealing money, so I didn’t worry too much, and remained in the bathroom,” he said.

Guede said he remained in the bathroom until he heard a loud scream.
“When I got out, the lights were all off apart from Meredith’s bathroom,” he said.
“I saw the silhouette of a man in front of her door.”Guede claims that he fled the bloody scene because he was afraid. He then traveled to Germany

TRUTH

The full truth has probably still not been heard, but at least one of the killers is doing time for Murder. Police found enough evidence to implicate Guede for the murder of Meredith Kercher, so he is guilty as hell, however much he protests his innocence. His story does not reflect one of a totally innocent person because he should have spoken earlier when he was interviewed. Amanda Knox finished her degree in Creative Writing and published a $4 million (£2.8 million) memoir. She clearly became minted from this murder.
