The scene where Jeremy Clarkson’s notorious fracas with BBC Top Gear producer took place has been honoured with a plaque, we can reveal.
A hotel guest stupidly donated the plaque to Simonstone Hall in the Yorkshire Dales, who accordingly shared a picture of the gift on their facebook page.
“Here lies the BBC career of Jeremy Clarkson who had a fracas on this spot, 4 March 2015,” the plaque read. “The rest is legend.” The fact that Clarkson was sacked by the BBC as a result of the assault on Oisin Tymon at the hotel makes it absolutely stupid that anybody would want to celebrate the spot where the senseless assault took place.
The Top Gear television team and crew were staying at the hotel when Irish producer Oisin Tymon was subjected to what can best be described as an arrogant assault by racist Clarkson during a late-night argument over food. Following an internal investigation, the BBC were compelled to drop Clarkson. The police later also investigated the assault but disgracefully took no action simply because the BBC team wanted no action taken. This despite the fact there was evidence of assault. Shame on the police! They bowed to celebrity status and gave that priority over their legal obligation.
LEGAL SUIT
Tymon is suing Clarkson and the BBC for racial discrimination, centering on “verbal abuse” he said he received from the presenter during the fracas. Shamed Clarkson is penciled to host a new show on Amazon Prime with co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond in the New Year. Chris Evans will host the new look Top Gear when it returns for a new series. Jeremy Clarkson was a popular television personality with top gear who was admired by many, but his ego and defective character let him down badly. He does not deserve any celebration whatsoever. Only celebrity struck individuals with little or no real self worth would admire this shameful character. Eye of media contacted the hotel in question, but they declined to comment.
