New research by some members of our team has shown that a number of criminally inclined children were abandoned by at least one of their parents as a child. Such abandonment is no excuse for criminal behavior but can create a huge moral and psychological void in the development of a child.
45% of adults who commit burglaries claimed to have been abandoned by their father as a child. 56% of chronic adult alcoholics also claimed to have been abandoned by their father as a child or lost one their parents due to unfortunate circumstances.
There have been cases of children who grew up in normal families whose lives have been ruined by alcohol, drugs, or both, but many of those claimed to have felt unloved by one or both of their parents or fell victim to sexual abuse or severe bullying at some stage in their lives.

Parents of such children focus on their new relationships and do not buy birthday or Christmas presents for their children, or support them emotionally.

The plan will annoy parents who want nothing to do with children from failed relationships, but only parents whose children contact us to complain will be exposed. Children deserve to experience the same love other children benefit from,the absence of which can have adverse psychological effects on many children.

In addition to such support, parents will be expected to also provide moral support and guidance to their children. Parents who lack direction and common sense themselves will be advised on how to influence their children by some of our team or by specially trained people we can bring on board.
Parents in new relationships away from their children should make all efforts to show basic parental love by remembering their birthdays and also maintaining some form of contact with their children.

In many cases, the new partner is wary that connection with their natural children could lead them back to their old spouse, but this cannot excuse total abandonment.
