RNLI RESCUE TWO KIDS FROM FLOODS BY OFFERING XMAS PRESENTS

The BBC have reported how the The Royal National lifeboat institution (RNLI) presented two Cumbrian kids with a special gift, after rescuing two brothers from the disturbing flood that hit the Northern parts of England. The RNLI’s core function is to rescue those that are trouble in sea around the United Kingdom.

Sebastian and Jacob Holmes, from Lytham were staying at their grandparents’ farm in Levens when the area became flooded. Cumbria was one of the unlucky counties in the UK to experience flooding during the festive period, ruining what should otherwise have been a time of celebration . Many parts of West Yorkshire and other parts of the country were ravaged in floods, causing severe flood warnings around the country

The RNLI Welsh division promised them RNLI helmets and a ride-on tractor as an incentive to coax them from the building, making them feel safer. The RNLI are reputed for their charitable ways with very limited funding.
