FRENCH POLICE TO ARREST 40 RUSSIAN HOOLIGANS

By TIM PARSONS

A French police operation to arrest 40 suspected Russian hooligans is underway, following the ugly scenes of violence between Russian and English fans last Saturday.

Over 8 English fans were jailed in France yesterday for their role in the shameful violent scenes that left many injured.

Russian hooligans have largely been blamed as the culprits of the mayhem, leaving a sour taste of injustice when it emerged that nobody had been punished from Russia.

However, recent news that French police are chasing over 40 arrests will bring some solace to those of us aggrieved by what was beginning to look like unfair favoritism by the French justice system.

A group of Russian hooligans had premeditated their attack on British fans and indeed wreaked plenty of havoc, leaving many British fans in serious conditions, some needing multiple facial stitches leaving them scarred for life.

An alcohol ban has been imposed from 6 pm on Tuesday until 6 am on Friday, in order to reduce the chances of another bust up. A Lot of anger and animosity will still be lingering in the minds of the victims of last weekends melee, but extra police will be on the ground, with downing Street also promising to send extra police to France.

The football authorities have warned that  the football teams from both countries will be thrown out of the competition, should a repeat of such violence occur.

The eye of media.com are also cleverly infiltrating both groups to get a feel of their pulse. We can reveal that we have two Russian informants from the U.K,  who are not part of the Russian hooligans but who share hotels with them, and will be secretly ease dropping on their conversations and recording any useful information.

ANGER

Among English fans, there is a deep seated feeling of anger, resentment, and disbelief at the weekend violence. Many claim they were being teased and provoked after England conceded a goal in the dying minutes of injury time and were set upon by Russian hooligans.

Some have vowed to go to any lengths to defend themselves in the event of a repeat of the violence, whatever the consequence to the England squad in the competition. And all are happy that French police plan to arrest 40 Russian hooligans, but are waiting to see it happen first.
