Television and Youtube character, heavy D, is often targeted for his television ‘nuisance ‘ role, the eye of media have been told.
The eccentric Heavy D character of youtube show, Arsenal TV, and Boom, who also acts on Dave television, was slapped at an Essex show in Southend last weekend for his television role on Dave’s Storage hunters.
The avid arsenal fan, who commentates on YouTube channel, Arsenal television was slapped by a big former female bouncer, as he courted revellers at the Borough hotel pub in Southend, at a jam-packed event last Saturday.
The show organised by Lorna Onobanjo featured television personality, Sandi from Goggle box, singer Wayne Marshall, and heavy D, all of whom played their roles in producing an evening of entertainment on a hot day in Southend.
Heavy D is known for his obstructive behaviour during auctions in Dave’s Storage Hunters programme but loathes the fact that some small minded people fail to appreciate this to be a television programme.
After performing for the crowd with a song, heavy D was approached as spoke comically to revellers in the smoking section, only to be slapped by a woman I’m her thirties who thought it was funny to do so.
When the eye of media.com confronted the woman about the slap which missed the eyes of a bouncer standing at a door within visual distance, she said: ” he is a naughty chap who can talk, I thought a slap would shut him up”.
However, the larger than life character told the eye of media.com ” I get this regularly, it’s quite ridiculous. People need to understand that the character they see on television is not me, it is just my character for that programme”.
“People like to have a pop sometimes just for the sake if it, and I have to avoid any trouble from arising because of their stupidity”.
Heavy D was recently invited to the 02 as a guest by David Haye, during his last fight, and said a couple of people acted in a ” provocative way” to test his patience.
“I was honoured to be invited and given a seat at the via section during David’s Haye’s last fight, but right after the fight,a couple of guys were acting confrontational for no apparent reason.”
When things like the at happen, I just have to try and leave the vicinity, but it us, not a comfortable feeling. People need to think properly instead of acting like idiots.
Heavy D has high aspirations in the television industry and has no intention if letting immature individuals ruin it. Whilst accusing him of being a television nuisance, it is them who are the nuisance, and who need to refrain from stupid behaviour.
Heavy D is on ‘Storage hunters’ every Tuesday at 8pm on Dave Television.
