Our bubbly “Sound of the underground” singer has landed her dream role on the cobble stone roads on Corry. The 33 year old singer will join the street this summer for a rumored 4 episodes, whether this will be extended has not yet been revealed, although Sarah beamed that she hopes to appear on and off the street over the years to come, if they will have her. Awwwwwwww! We would definitely love too see more of our “Promise” singer on our TV screens.

The singer who has also starred in the St Trinians movie will be playing an overly feisty character, which is perfect for her! And who could she possibly annoy the most that would give the viewers the up most pleasure? Tracy Barlow off course. Making her life difficult and causing chaos everywhere she goes, sounds exciting doesn’t she? The nation have had too put up with Tracy’s gob for many years so we are hoping Sarah’s character gives Kate Ford’s woman of many words character a run for her money. She could be getting her paws into Tracy’s side piece.

FEARS & EXCITEMENT:

It’s her first soap role, and the singer has expressed a mixture of fear and excitement. She told the UK’s Sun Newspaper:
“I am excited to be joining Coronation Street. As a fan of the show it is a huge honour for me to join the cast. I can’t wait to get started.”

Admitting she didn’t have too audition for the unnamed part at hand but exclaiming that it doesn’t take away her nerves whatsoever. Lucky for some ay? skipping that terrifying audition which many spend months preparing for.
“I’m really terrified” She continued “It’s been a while since I’ve acted and Corrie is such a big deal. It’s made me more nervous.”
Luckily her acting experiences have given her an upper hand. The filming which is already underway see’s our savvy blonde sporting a short curse bob with a edgy fringe, may i add, she is behind the Rovers Bar pulling a pint. What’s going on…….

“The level of secrecy has been totally insane. I have to really watch what I say. My mum reads all those soap magazines and is always telling me, ‘This is going to happen’. I’ve told her a few things but not everything.”

After rehab in 2011, and a driving ban in 2013 this is exactly what Sarah needs and it is what she knows best. We can’t wait too see her entrance appearance this summer Should Sarah Harding gain a permanent spot on Coronation street? Let us know what you think.
