Georgia May is leaving our beloved living rooms in just a few weeks’ time to try her chances in the bright lights of Hollywood. The beauty recently filmed her final scene in Coronation street. Georgia may has been on the street for 4 years now playing the feisty stunner Katy Armstrong, daughter to builder Owen. Georgia has told pals that she has hopes to follow in the footsteps of Catherine Zeta Jones. Catherine Zeta walked from her “Mediocre” role in “The darling buds of May” to pursue her big time career in Hollywood. Catherine then went onto star in several major Movies including “The legend of Zorro”, “Oceans twelve”, “Chicago” and “The Haunting”. The Welsh born wife to Michael Douglas accomplished and is still accomplishing major things due to her risks back in 1993 and Georgia does not see why she can’t accomplish the same thing. Catherine was 24 years old when she left Buds of May to target Hollywood and it took her only 2-3 years to break it. Let’s keep a big eye on our block buster’s guys. Georgia “Zeta” Foot is on the same flex and boy, she has Everest amounts of beauty just like her eye guzzling idol. Good luck Miss Foot.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
The 24 year old actress had appeared on our screens for donkey years. She found her big break with the old school TV drama “Grange Hill” back in 2005. She aired 42 times with Grange Hill by the time she left in 2008 at just 17 years of age. One year before she departed “Grange Hill”, the soft faced teen also featured in “Doctors” and “Life on Mars” for one episode each. It is safe to say the Elton High School attendee is not short on experience when it comes onto landing roles, having her career start way back in 1996 when she was only fifteen.
May also played small roles in “Sorted” and “This is England” in 2006 and 2010 and if that wasn’t enough, once the actress left BBC’s drama Grange Hill she landed roles in bigger soaps like Emmerdale, Casualty and Heartbeat. Last year in October, Georgia also bagged herself a very generous modelling contract with “The Select Modelling Management”, so she is a woman who has her hands in many honey pots. Considering she has only featured in one episode for Emmerdale, Doctors and Casualty, the Bury born star still believes that if Catherine Zeta Jones can do it, then so can she. And with a career spanning nearly a decade in length, who can blame her for feeling lucky about her future? Let’s hope having just one major role in Coronation street wont hinder her opportunities in Hollywood, as they are known to undoubtedly expect a pretty rather impressive portfolio. CANCELLED ENGAGEMENT: The recently departed coronation street actress has doubled the shocking life choices when she cancelled her engagement effective immediately. Georgia has been with her partner John for nearly a decade, the Childhood sweethearts remained together through all of her work which regularly left the item apart for weeks at a time. In spite of the distance between the pair John Sage remained faithful and dedicated to his long term partner from the start, John is reportedly devastated that the actress set for superstar fame has left him and such short notice. John commented “I love her and I wish her all the best, I can’t make her stay that would be wrong of me. I just wish I had an incline. I didn’t even see it coming, there were no signs that she wanted out”. The recently single beau celebrated her 24th birthday on February 11th this month which happened to fall on the wide eyed actresses leaving do. The coronation street cast threw her a big farewell party to lift her off into her Hollywood endeavours. The Katy Armstrong Actress came alone which the cast found highly unusual. John Sage had been present during her previous birthday bashes at the Coronation street set, so the crew expected him to be at her farewell party.
An insider told eye of media “George and John are always together, so when she turned up without her accessory we knew something wasn’t right” but Georgia soon put the whispers to bed when she announced “I’ve called of my engagement to john and I’m looking forward to pursuing my career in Hollywood”.
Once a women has made her mind up, there’s no going back. Georgia has clearly dwelled on this choice for some time before deciding being single and going it alone is the best way to approach a career in Hollywood. “A man will only hold me back” the beauty explained. “I can’t be worrying about a relationship and this is a sacrifice I’m willing to make for my future, it had to be done”. Women have done worse to be successful to say the least. The pair did share a home in Bolton together which she has immediately jumped ship from, leaving John to his life and “wishing him all the best”. Let’s hope these major life decisions do not back fire on you Georgia. When we look at the bare basics you was not fired from Coronation Street, you physically left without securing yourself a new job, which some may see as foolish? Maybe she knows something we don’t know guys. We wish her well with the blinding lights of Hollywood.
