FORMER EASTENDERS SIAN BLAKE MAY HAVE MARRIED A DEVIL

BY LUCY CAULKETT

Following the discovery of the body of a former Eastenders actress, Sian Blake, we ask the question how many partners are dating the devil unawares.

Detectives have said they want to speak to Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48- the partner of Sian Blake, over the discovery in the garden of the house in south-east London. It may be too early to condemn and accuse the husband of her murder, especially with the popular and commonly accepted notion of ‘innocent until proven guilty’. However, as intelligent human beings, one cannot ignore compelling pointers when they are all too glaring. Woman and her two sons found in the back garden of their home, and husband disappears out of the country merely days after being spoken to.

The murdered woman and the couple’s sons have not been seen since 13 December.
The BBC reported that Mr Simpson-Kent arrived in Ghana some time after 16 December and before Christmas . Her car was found in Bethnal Green on the 3rd of January. It is almost predictable that this man slaughtered his wife and two kids or arranged the killing for whatever reason. However, I’ll air on the caution in saying there is no conclusive evidence to support this, but how scary the thought that many women get murdered by their partners.

The question is why in many cases the women don’t foresee this and run a mile before such calamity befalls them. Some do, many cry for help, but still get slaughtered. More scary is how one marries or even becomes intimate with someone who will become their eventual killer. No way of predicting in advance many will say. Yet, too often women stay in abusive relationship in the hope they may be able to change things, and under the self deceit that they love someone who will eventually end their life so brutally. Again, there is no suggestion that Blake was negligent in remaining in staying in a violent relationship, neither is there enough evidence to even suggest she hadn’t decided to call it a day.

Not all women in violent relationships or who are victims of murder are all innocent, but this does not mean they deserve to be killed. Women can be provocative, as can be men, and some are even violent too. However, when you decide to kill a woman and her kids, then bury them, you are the devil indeed! No excuse for this.

How callous for anyone to kill her and her two children, let alone if if it was done by her husband. Women in the Uk, and really all over the world must always scream for help the moment their partners or former partners become excessively controlling or violent. It can end them in the grave. May Sian Blake’s soul rest in peace.
