EX PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH MOCKS KANYE WEST’S PRESIDENTIAL AMBITION

BY JAMES SIMONS

Former president of America, George W. Bush laughed at the idea of Kanye West going for presidency, after the controversial rapper announced at this year’s music awards that he would be running for presidency. The former president of America was asked by high flying website, TMZ. The mockery is believed to amount to some form of vengeance against the controversial rapper who accused Bush of not caring for Black people-making reference to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Kanye at the time said ” I hate the way they portray us. If they see a black family, it says they are looting, you see a white family, they are looking for food. And you know what, it’s been 5 days because most of the people are black. George Bush doesn’t care about black people”.

President Bush later called the comment by West ”one of the most disgusting comments of his presidency”, though with little done to alleviate the situation in New Orleans, West had many supporters. One thing for sure though, is that West does not have the skills or wisdom to lead a town, let alone a city, or a country. Presidency? oh please! The American will do better concentrating on his rapping where he has certainly excelled to unthinkable heights. However, there can be no controversy that any aspirations for presidency is truly at best laughable, which is why the question by TMZ must have been a small early Christmas gift for the former president. Not that Bush himself was a good president. Most will remember the way he struggled to put words together, always saying errrh! However, Bush was undoubtedly a more competent president than West can ever dream off- and Bush was not that competent.
