Dramatic raids on the home of a presidential lawyer, Micha el Cohen, could threaten the presidency of the controversial and daring Donald Trump.
The raid ordered by an American Judge related to alleged payments by Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen, to the pornographic film actor Stephanie Clifford, who performs as Stormy Daniels.
She claims to have had an affair with Trump in 2006 about which she was paid hush money of $130,000. The FBI who executed the raid was reportedly also looking for information about Cohen’s possible role in brokering a deal between American Media Inc., which owns the National Enquirer, and 1998 Playboy Playmate of the Year Karen McDougal.
McDougal also claims to have had an affair with Trump around the same time. Whether Cohen facilitated the none disclosure of intimate details connected to the alleged extramarital affairs is a subject of great interest and curiosity. It may have legal implications too.
Other potential offenses of interest to the FBI the FBI include potential criminal violations, bank fraud, and wire fraud. Cohen and his lawyer both denied any wrongdoing not yet clear whether the Cohen raids were directly linked to special counsel Robert Mueller’s larger investigation of possible collusion between the Trump presidential campaign and Russia.
There are suspicions in many circles that the raid may also have been an opportunity to seek any potential evidence that may be helpful to Muller’s investigation in relation to alleged collusion between Trump’s team and Russia during the U.S 2016 elections.
Mueller has referred the Cohen investigation to the Manhattan U.S. Attorney’s office, and there is the great suspicion that Trump’s presidency is under serious threat.
President Trump’s recent tweet telling Russia to prepare for ”new” smart” missiles which are coming is also viewed by a number of skeptics as a dangerous move the American president could make to plunge the U.S U.S into a war that buries the ‘disturbing’ and ‘irritating’ investigation into the Russian collusion affair.
Nothing incriminating has so far been announced to have been found during the raids, but analysis of various elements seen may still be ongoing. President Trump has survived the wave of attacks against him so far, but the storm added by naughty Stormy Daniels only adds more intensity to his pressures.
