Now that senator Tred Cruz and Governor Kasich of Ohio have pulled out of the Presidential race, a deeply divided nation awaits him. However, he has a clear idea of what he wants to achieve. If Trump becomes America’s next President, the face of America will change like never before.
Cruz was a staunch rival of Trump, and had engaged in bitter exchanges in these elections.
Trump plans to put an immigration ban on Muslims, erect a barrier against Mexico, audit the Federal Reserve, and also repeal the Affordable Care Act. Some of his radical plans will cause mass protests and complete opposition, but if he is in charge, then he is in charge.
“I know people aren’t sure right now what a President Trump will be like,” the optimistic candidate said. “But things will be fine. I’m not running for president to make things unstable for the country.”
I know not everybody will like what I do, but I’m not running to be everybody’s president, I’m trying to do what is best for the country”, he said.
The Republican party is facing a real challenge, as there are those who strongly oppose Trump’s overall message. However, failure to show allegiance to this real estate democrat, simply means facing the consequence of having to leave the party.
Some staff members at the Republican National Committee were told yesterday that if they were unable to get behind the nominee, they should leave by the end of the week.
Many in his party have so far failed to congratulate or associate with what looks like a Trump victory waiting to happen, but Trump says he is focused on doing the best for the American country. He has pledged to fulfill his campaign promises no matter the reception he gets from disapproved groups.
Trump knows he will need to unite his party to be a leader of any sort, and there is also plenty of adversity for him to grapple with. It will be a tough road for him, but the tough talking and controversial potential new president has already made clear his plans to only have in his cabinet those who share the governing ideology. He has a family click in mind, with his daughter as his adviser, and her husband too. They have worked in administrations according to Trump, so will be suited to the task.
