Officers immediately responded to a property on Corporation Street after the West Midlands Ambulance Service alerted them around a.m. Paramedics sadly pronounced both young victims deceased directly at the scene. This rapid response initiated a substantial police presence in the residential area, which remains in effect today.

Consequently, detectives swiftly arrested a -year-old local woman on suspicion of murder. The woman remains in police custody and is currently assisting officers with their urgent inquiries into the horrific incident. Authorities have chosen not to confirm the specific ages or genders of the deceased children at this preliminary stage.
Specialized police officers informed the next of kin about the devastating death of two children in Stafford and are currently providing comprehensive support to the grieving family members.
Detective Inspector Kirsty Oldfield is currently leading the complex investigation, urging the public to exercise discretion.
