I’m so happy to be writing this as the news is just in that Beyoncé and Solange’s Mum tied the knot to her boyfriend Richard Lawson. The woman who gave Beyoncé and Sol their flawless looks is finally getting the happy ending she deserves.
STARTING OVER
Born Celestine Beyincé in 1954, she went onto marry the pop stars father Matthew Knowles. The pair married in 1980 one year before Beyoncé arrived and went onto live a happily married life for 31 years! “Happily” being a shaky adjective to describe their whirlwind. Matthew strayed from their vows and had a child outside of his marriage with a stripper! After denying the accusations for several months and refusing all parts to play in the supposed “affair” the women in question slapped Tina and the Knowles with a paternity test proving that Matt was in deed the father to her son “Nixon”. Tina wasted no time with issuing her husband with the glossy divorce papers, not only did she leave him his daughters also cut all contact. Matthew has recently gone broke and been spotted selling old “Destiny’s Child” memorabilia to make ends meet along with fathering baby number four with an ex stripper AGAIN. We’ve yet to see proof if the little girl “Koi” is his (that’s a whole other story).
WEDDING BELLS
Beyoncé has been partying in the sun at Coachella this weekend but flew out instantly for her Mothers big day. Tina Knowles 61, married 67 year old actor Richard Lawson on a yacht in a private ceremony off the crystal clear waters of Southern California’s Newport Beach!! WOAHHHHH The pair started dating in 2013, two years after her divorce with Matthew was finalized. Close friends and family attended the fashion designers big day. Beyoncé, Jay Z and their daughter Blue Ivy along with her little sister Solange were all spotted popping champagne on the deck. The stars were all dripping in white for the ceremony earlier on Sunday just like her daughter Solange’s big day in November last year. The beautiful white ship is reported too hold 300 guests, spanning a spectacular 140ft. We smell a party, there’s plenty of room!
Jay Z was crisply dressed in a white tux mirroring his wedding day, whilst her eldest daughter rocked a summery elegant white dress with a delicate floral band around her head. FRESH! Whilst having a nosey at the big occasion I found out the Yacht’s name “Eternity”, how beautiful. Hopefully the name will haunt them in a nice way. We need a happily ever after for our Tina.
WEDDING DRESS: We’ve yet to receive insight of her wedding dress designer, I’m beginning to wonder if she designed it herself. The legend who has designed all of Destiny Child’s outfits DID have a glittery wedding line back in the day with the epic label “House of Deréon” (Beyoncé and Tina’s Fashion Line) but either way we know she looked fabulous. Where will Mr Lawson be taking our Tina for their honeymoon? Let’s see shall we.
