Police are in a race to remove a circulating video footage from social media platforms showing the murder of teenager, Drekwon Patterson “to prevent further distress to the family”.
The eight-minute insensitive footage reveals the tragic youngster being chased and attacked by four thugs, who are all still at large.
The group can then be seen in the video, running into a black Ford Mondeo, leaving Drekwon for dead.
The posting of the footage, most likely by teenagers who knew him is highly offensive to the family of the victim. It is not know who put the footage of social media, but it is believed there was also an entertainment factor on the part of the insensitive youths who posted the footage.
Tributes have been paid to the youngster who has been described as likeable.
