With a 4 o clock kick off both Manchester teams on sunday, we where thinking about who was going to win this game at tea time. This game was such a great game for the whole of Manchester. Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney and Manchester cities Vincent Kompany lead out there teams at a sold out old Trafford.

Manchester united was the brighter team playing the better football attacking and running at Manchester city at will. It was not long before Man city started to fight back showing some of the earlier style that Man City have shown in earlier games this season, 29 year old Jesus Nava’s took a shot into the center box but the finishing ball landed right into the hands of Man united keeper David de Gea. City maintained their form and got an early goal in the 8th minute with Sergio Aguero scoring an easy close range shot making the blues have that early lead that they dreamt about. United dusted there selves off and won a free kick as midfielder Ashley young was fouled by Gael Clichy. The game started to heat up as both teams were looking for that winning goal. The second goal came in the 14th minute, taking the game to a 1-1 draw. Ashley young showed the fans that he was still a relevant scorer. The first yellow card came in the 24 minute as Man-city’s James miller was booked for a foul on Herrera. Moments later Manchester united took the lead, taking them to a healthy 2-1. A great link up with the man of the moment Ashely young and Marouane Fellaini play with Marouane Fellaini scoring a great goal in the 27th minute. The game was starting to look like a goal fest after the 3rd goal. Manchester cities Silva received a yellow Card taking his team to 2 yellows. As half time dawned in on the players there’s all to play for, both teams looked hungry to score again. Man city looked like they were creating a whole new game called “let’s not attack anymore”. The first half finished 2-1 to the home team.

The start of the second half was all about Man-city, after a quiet 15 minutes the pace of the game seemed to pick up. The 51st minute saw a free kick go the red devils with England’s Captain Wayne Rooney stepping up to take to the shot which resulted to nothing. Man Utd continued to control the pace of the game, giving Man-city little interaction with the ball. Up until the hour mark when City started to finally fight back with a change of players, James Miller was the replacement for team mate 27 year old French born Samir Nasri. Man United winning stance was unshakable half way through the second half. In the 67th minute Juan Mata sunk Man City spirits by scoring a phenomenal third goal for his team. Leading up to the 70th minute the game was well and truly over, City were not making much contact on the ball in play. Man Utd were eager to leave with another goal which they did in the 74th minute, Chris Smalling headed home a glorious goal of his own. The substitutes continued with Marcos Rio coming on for Phil jones in the 75th minute for City. The Devil’s changed Fellaini for Falco, the changes kept the pressure on the blues as they could not break the might reds until they scored a late goal in the 89th minute. The 26 year old Argentinian forward Sergio Aguero scored a late goal but it was too little too late, the game finished 4-2 to Manchester United.
