By Sammie Jones-
A suspected cover up by Kate and Jerry Mccann has led to 27,000 signatures for a lie detector test.
Their daughter , Madelaine Mccan disappeared in 2007 in the resort of Pria de ruis in 2007. Since then, all efforts to find the young girl who was 3 years old at the time have proved fruitless.FATEFUL
The young girl was said to have been left indoors that fateful night whilst her parents enjoyed a drink with friends outside the residence.
BOOK
A Portuguese cop has since written a book pointing the finger of blame on the parents who are doctors. He is due to publish another book to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the little girl’ s disappearance.
Painful, that will be, especially for parents still mourning her disappearance .
GUILT
Losing a child is no easy experience, but thousands of Brits are now speaking up and expressing their suspicion of the parent’ s guilt. They want them to take a lie detector test.
SUSPECT
Many people find it suspect that intelligent and professional parents like Kate and Gerry Mccann would actually have left their children at home with the door open.
It seems too careless for any responsible parent to do, but it is quite possible for this to happen. However, parents can be too relaxed when on holiday, particularly when drink comes into the equation.
Yet, the suspicion of a cover up is understandable where 10 years of investigation has produced nothing.
ALARMING
The couple’s story of leaving 3 young children at home alone is alarming. The parents are known to have given the children tablets to calm them down whenever they cried too much.
OVERDOSE
It has been suggested that Madelaine may have been accidentally given an overdose, killing her in the process, and forcing them to dispose of the body.
As doctors, it has been suggested they would have the expertise knowledge to completely dispose of the body. Portuguese investigators initially treated the Mccann’s as suspects.
PEDOPHILES
British investigators have focused their search on Known Paedophiles in the area at the time- the Madelaine’ s are not suspects in their eyes.
27,000 Brits are very suspicious, and are hoping for signatures to reach 100,000 so that Parliament debates the issue.
It is very unlikely Parliament will force the parents to take a lie detector test since it is not admissible in court.
But the suspicion of a cover up might only become more intense as time goes on.
