Former Ukip leader, Nigel Farage, has accused EU bosses of behaving like “a mafia ” over Brexit negotiations.
The outspoken politician was speaking at the European Parliament when he accused them of holding Britain to “ransome by making “vindictive demands”.
” We are free to go” , be told the Parliament as the climate for tough negotiations begins to unfold.
INTEGRITY
Farage accused the EU of plucking the figures of the EU bill to Britain from the air, in a direct attack at their integrity.
The forthright politician who is despised in many quarters, highlighted that he had received much praise over the success of Brexit.
He said the EU should be making them an offer they “can’t refuse”, so that Britain doesn’t leave the EU.
Theresa May signed Article 50 last week to trigger the formal process of Brexit , in a historic move that will build or damage the future of Britain.
However, there has been a lot of bitter rhetoric by angry EU leaders over Britain’s decision to leave the EU.
TOUGH
Allegations that tough negotiations await Britain in the wake of the triggering of Article 50, is worrying about what the future has in store for us.
FAIR
EU bosses have promised to be fair, but there is also the strong feelings that EU leaders will be deliberately hostile to the UK as a form of vengeance over leaving the EU.
