This month seems to be all about the Platt’s and their dramatic life dramas. We finally say Au revoir to Katy Armstrong placed by Georgia May Foot as she jets off to live her new life in Portugal, but will she be able to board that plane? Will Chesney change his mind that he’s OK with his son Joseph flying out of his life for however long? Gail Platt deceitfully tries to cover up Gavin’s death behind her fiancés back by sneaking into the family restaurant and changing over his national insurance number, in hopes of keeping their fraudulent cover-up going.
FLASHBACK:
Remember Gail Platt’s little daughter Sarah-Lou? She landed the touchy story line of falling pregnant at the childhood age of 13. In 2000 we saw Sarah Louise give birth to baby Bethany who was played by Mia Cookson in the first few months. Sarah and Bethany stayed with us for several more years as Bethany was played by identical pair of twins Emily and Amy Watson. In 2007 we said by to the pair as Sarah set her sights on taking her and daughter to live in glossy Italy. It’s been a healthy 8 years since the duo have walked the cobble roads of Coronation Street but they both return this month. Bethany is set to reappear and mother will follow, so it you want to see the 14 year olds re-debut then tune in on Thursday the 19th this following week, as we see white-blonde red-lipped Lucy Fallon play the bright eyed teen: but is she nothing but trouble? My guess is YES! Bethany tells her gullible Nan (Gail) that her mum is neglecting her due to her heavy work load but when Gail calls her daughter, Sarah to double check it becomes clear that our little o –so-sweet Bethany isn’t being completely honest! Blackpool-born Lucy Fallon who is playing the teen is 19 in real life and rumors emerged that the young actress had lied about her age in order to land herself that role.
DAVID VS CALLUM:
David and Callum just can’t and won’t see eye to eye, the boys are constantly at logger heads for their son Max’s attention. Callum Logan who fathered max with David’s current wife Kylie, loves seeing David squirm as he can’t help but obviously panic. Is he going to have max torn away from him? Raising step-son Max since he was 3 gives him every reason to feel hopeless right now with his biological father constantly throwing digs his way, but things will sway in David’s favour, as hot tempered Cal looses his cool at the wrong place and the wrong time, right in front of their solicitor! Bad luck ,Callum. If that had not already put solid pressure on them both with their gigantic ego’s then it’s safe to say it doesn’t do each of them any favors when Gail and Callum’s mother meet and become more than pally with one another. Tea anyone?
WELCOME BACK TINA O-BRIAN:
The long awaited good news has finally arrived following the return of Sarah-Louise played by 31 year old, blonde beauty Tina O’Brian is here and guess who she could encounter a possible romance with? Come on, think! CALLUM! Off course, when the drug dealer can’t keep his eyes of his rival’s sister, it becomes visible that she is feeling the dark and handsome thug’s ways. “So there’ll be huge problems for David,” explains the soap’s producer Stuart Blackburn. Tina’s main purpose for returning is to drag her daughter back to Milan, Italy kicking and screaming but the tear away teen is adamant her life now belongs on the street with her other immediate family. Will Sarah stick around longer? Will she and Callum work out? Will this soon to be rocky romance jeopardize David’s chances of custody?
