A young man who robbed a teenager of his new Nike trainers before stabbing another teenager who confronted him about it, has been convicted of murder and jailed for life.
Fifteen-year-old Perry Jordan-Brammer was stabbed 10 times all over his body following the confrontation in Tottenham on 30 August last year. He died some days later in hospital on 4 September 2019.

Romario Lindo, 21,(pictured) was found guilty of murder following a trial at Woolwich Crown Court, which concluded today . He had previously pleaded guilty to robbing the other 14-year-old victim. He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 21 years today. Lindo had spotted his first victim holding a JD sports bag containing the £90 Nike trainers just outside Bruce Grove overground station. As he violently tussled with the teenager, the drawstring strap of the bag broke and he snatched it from him before fleeing.
Bruce Grove in Tottenham is notorious for gangsters who rob random people, in many cases to sustain their drug habit. There is no suggestion than the perpetrator in this case attacked and killed his victim for drugs.
The teenage victim followed Lindo at a distance and called a friend telling him what had happened. The friend was with Perry, and the pair set out trying to find Lindo in order to recover the shoes. Perry was ahead on a bike when he spotted Lindo and a struggle began, eventually leaving him with the fatal stab wounds.

Lindo made off on the bike Perry had been riding before dumping it and his outer clothing nearby.
He was arrested after police officers looking at the CCTV of the murder recognised him from a previous incident.
Catherine Gould, from the CPS, said: “This was a tragic loss of a young life in the space of one minute just for the sake of some trainers.
“Romario Lindo claimed he had acted in self-defence, but the prosecution case was able to prove otherwise.
“The prosecution case also included DNA evidence, eye witness testimony and CCTV footage that showed how the events unfolded.
“This case is yet another example of how knife crime can shatter communities and families. The CPS takes knife crime extremely seriously and will work with partners such as the police to bring offenders to justice.
“I hope today’s verdict provides some comfort to the family and friends of Perry Jordan-Brammer.”
