SPANISH POLICE SWOOP ON GANGSTER BRIT IN SPAIN

BY JAMES SIMONS
The news has broken that a man from Romford, Essex was dramatically arrested by Spanish police today for the murder of 25 year old Francis Brennan, from Liverpool who vanished in the resort of Javea in January last year after men disguised as police kidnapped him. He was already wanted by the Uk’s Crime agency on suspicion of importing Cocaine to the UK , after being charged in December last year

Police today arrested 54 year old Paul Monk over the murder of the Scousser, as they were convinced he master minded the killing. Brennan’s body was found wrapped in a bin bag with a tape round it when located ashore on a beach near the Orihuela Costa. Police pounced on him in his four bedroom property in Javea whilst he was instructing workers who were laying a patio around his swimming pool.

The cops also found over 125,000 Euros(£90,000) an imitation gun, and a silencer in the house of the drugs gangster. The Essex boy is expected to be charged and face trial in Spain. He will then be extradited to the UK to face likely charges over alleged drug offences. Police have linked him to the handover of a kilo of Cocaine in Cockfosters London, In May 2013 and the seizure of 24 kilos of cannabis in Colchester in October 2013. Monk was careful in never leaving his house, to avoid any chance of capture. But his luck ran out when his business was disruptive by their presence. Incidentally, a second British fugitive, Jayson Mcdonald, 37, was also arrested the second day in Amsterdam. Both men featured in last month’s crime stoppers as they were highly wanted by police.

Drug dealing can be very lucrative, but brings with it serious dangers of robbery, deceit, betrayal, greed and everything dangerous with often ends in Murder, and then capture, which makes nonsense of the entire venture. Monk was living the high life in Spain, but all has all come on top now, and doesn’t look like it will get any better. The murder is believed to have been happened because of a gang feud over money. It’s always the way though.
