Users all over the world have complained of crashes on social media. The U.k has experienced numerous complaints from regular users, the eye of media.com heard from several sources both on facebook.

Facebook is also not working for a thousands’ of users across the UK, according to reports across social media. Whilst users can log in, many experienced a failure of posts and updates uploading. A network error also appeared for many who tried to refresh their news feeds.

Independent website www.DownDetector.uk, which monitors “when services go down or have outages”, reported several complaints of discontented users.  The outage for Facebook started around 5.15pm GMT and remained down nearly 45 minutes later.

Facebook is used by millions of users world -wide and has contributed a big role in making the world is a smaller place, making world communication easier. A report last month concluded that facebook is the source of depression and envy for those who spend time looking at other people’s lives.

 It was based on a survey of women in the UK but cannot be sufficiently representative of the vast members of the public.

It may still paint a fairly accurate picture of what happens with a lot of people but facebook users can judge that by addressing the question to themselves. Earlier today, it was revealed by the UK Guardian that facebook and many private companies have encryptions in their apps including Whats App(owned by facebook) that allows official hacking and interceptions by the government or intelligent agencies that allow them to read our messages.

They can do this without raising any criminal alarm and snoop on our messages without our knowledge. Facebook have not admitted collaborating with any agencies permit interception.
