Brits Skip School And Work To Escape Friday 13th

By Sammie Jones-

Many Brits decided to skip school and work after Friday 13th produced the first real snow and intensifying cold weather of 2017.

Several tweets and Facebook posts revealed that a number of Brits opted for taking the sick and staying at home with heating on.

The true extent of the reaction to the superstitious pessimism surrounding the myth surrounding Friday the 13th may not be known a snot everybody wishes to announce this.  Lots of individuals take this kind of negative coincidence seriously, choosing not to chance an unlucky experience whilst out on this snowy day.

Slippery roads and icy grounds pose a risk to motorists and pedestrians, with the met issuing an alert to everybody to take extra care.  Friday the 13th is traditionally seen as an ominous sign of bad luck despite this being just another day in the year.

Such is the power of superstition even among many skeptics who would normally take no notice of such things. Bad luck has always been a notion believed to occur when for unexplained reasons unfortunate things happen to the same people. The more random the unfortunate experience, and more serious the consequences, the more ingrained the fear and resignation to bad block.

Most earners will still go to work as usual, since not everyone can pull off a fib that comfortably or truly be worried about the prospect of an unforeseen doom ahead because of the day of month it is.

This does not make the  deep concern of calamity or trouble insane, it confirms the inner fear of the unknown in many of us when the rumor attached to unknown forces affecting our lives is given some weight over many decades or even centuries.
