Tory Mp Michael Gove, has been found on dating app Bumble, apparently looking for love.Gove, who is undergoing a divorce process from his estranged wife, Sarah Vine, was picturedposing in shades, hoping to get lucky with a woman who can replace or even begter his former wife.
The somewhat unconventional Mp was photographed on a dance floor in Aberdeen only a couple of months ago, but this time was motivated to join a dating app whilst on a visit to Manchester.
Gove, who was also rumoured to have engaged BBC political journalist, Laura kossenburg in a rap battle during the Conservative conference (this has been denied by the BBC) appears to be actively looking for a companion .
His major concern will have to be whether prospective women who may be intrested in having a minister in government as a partner of future husband , are aware of his former wife’s insinuation in a Daily Mail article a week befire their annoiunced divorce, that he gets too busy with politics to spend adequate time with his family.
The politiciam could argue that his wife and family were too much of a pain for him(if it is true) or claim to be a changed man who has learnt uis lesson, aftr his outspoken wife called time on their marriage.
Gove and Sarah Vine said at the time they announced their divorce that their separation was a joint one, but many observers who know them bith believe she called the shots in their separation as the pair grew apart.
Now, the British politic8an is playing mr.cool guy and posing for the ladies with three selfies and one picture of him playing bowl, revealing the social side to him, ensuring he is not perceived to be just a boring politician.
The Secretary of State’s first picture shows him looking ruffled and angry, in dark tortoiseshell sunglasses which definitely make him look Very Cool™.
His prompt responses seem curt and standoffish, giving the appearance that he is not just a regular Tory, but one of those cool Tories who
In another, he states that after work he can always be found “doing more work”, which is probably true these days, as opposed to the nineties when it occassionally meant doing cocaineSomething he now describes as a “mistake” and says he regrets.
And finally, his “About Me” section simply reads: “I’m afraid it’s all true”. Is this the kind of open and unabashed attitude that will appeal to potential Gove suitors, though? Will he really find the next Sarah Vine with a profile like this?
Dating and sexual wellness expert Dr Elesha Vooght is dubious. “Michael has clearly tried to come across as nonchalant and amusing, but it reads as uptight. His questions give someone very little to work with. There is no opening for a conversation or a question.
“Michael has chosen some photos which show a more relaxed and open side of himself, but unfortunately these mostly consist of selfies. This can give the appearance of a lack of social network, which can be off-putting to a potential date. Go for pictures taken by someone else and maybe one group shot, to show you have your own life.
“He has also adopted an unflattering angle on some of his selfies, where the camera is angled upwards from his chin. This is a bad picture for anyone as it can distort your facial proportions. Go for pictures which are eye level, as this gives your date a true image of what you really look like.”
