YOUNG CHILD IN NEW MALDEN IN HOSPITAL AFTER FALLING OUT OF WINDOW

BY ERIC KING

A young child in New Malden was rushed to hospital yesterday after falling from a window.

He was rushed to hospital and the police was called to the address. The situation reflects badly on the guardian of the child or whichever adult was in charge at the time. Special care and attention should always be taken on children because they are children. The child’s age has so far been withheld for inexcusable reasons, neither has the parents identity been disclosed.

The situation alarmed neighbors in the area, and an air ambulance was seen hovering over the area.No foul play has so far been stated to be the cause for the accident, though a neighbor told the eye of media.com

” I heard screams from a distance, so figured out that a child had been hurt. At first I thought it might just be a naughty child crying like children did, but as the cries continued, I went out of my house and saw the police and ambulance parked there. I was basically told to go about my business, so I left it at that.”

MISSED

I had missed the scene by barely 5 mins whilst looking into another story on the same road with one of my colleagues. The injuries sustained by the child is suspected to be serious, though very little information has been forthcoming with regards the extent of the injury. Children’s bodies are delicate and fragile, and there feelings are impacted by pain more than adults. The demands on parents from children can be very high, Though when a window exists in the house that is reachable to children, parents should be very sharp and aware of the potential dangers. There can be no excuse for leaving a child to wonder aimlessly near a window, in the same way that a hot iron cannot be left unattended where children are playing about.
