A York student lost her parents in the Manchester terrorist attack, it has emerged.
Angelika and Mercenary were confirmed dead yesterday as their son Alex launched a frantic appeal for there whereabouts.
Alex had said on Facebook:. “Anyone in a safe place in any hospital, if anyone has seen my parents, please, please, get in touch because they have been missing ever since the blast “.
The parents of the York student had turned up at Ariana Grande’ s concert to pick up their daughters, only to fall victim to the evil terrorist attack there.
PAIN
The pain this young lad must be experiencing is unbelievable. Losing both parents in such a cruel manner is extremely sad and unfortunate. The poor lad must be so devastated , as much as everyone else who has lost loved ones .
He will need alot of counselling and emotional support in this very difficult time.
Manchester’s terrorist attack claimed the lives of very young people, including Olivia Campbell and Georgina Callander.
CONTACT
Campbell’s mother told the BBC she had been in contact with the her daughter at 8.30- two hours before the cruel terrorist struck. 15 year Olivia was having an amazing time , and thanked her mother for letting her attend the event.
That sad benefit of hindsight is that it would have been better if the young teenager hadn’t attended. Hindsight is a beautiful thing, reality is not always the same.
In death, Olivia’s appreciative thoughts and gratitude towards her mum will stay with her grieving mother.
SAD
It is such a sad time for the British public , but we shall not be moved, but will unite in defiance and solidarity against these evil and twisted terrorists.
SHOWS
Ariana Grande still has two more shows at the O2 on Thursday and Friday. She initially cancelled her entire UK tour, but her promotional team are in talks with O2anagement as to whether the tour will continue.
