The U.S President has deployed over 5,200 troops to the border with Mexico as part of its anti immigration agenda to keep the Mexicans out
The announcement which comes just days before the midterm elections coincides with a similar Mexico cracked down Mexico is executing on its on people . The move will toughen his stance as a nationalists before his many fans, whilst the president continues to gather criticism from those who consider his actions to be too extreme. President Trump is a polarizing figure. He has many committed followers, but also has a large body of growing critics who consider him a liability.
Trump has always promised to put Americans first, a rhetoric embraced by far right supporters and new converts to his deep and controversial ideologies. He has left Americans and the world in no doubt that he will be very tough on immigration, and he has a large fan base that warm up to his vision. The media find him inconsistent and unreliable as a leader, causing Trump to wage a persistent war with the media
General Terrence O’Shaughnessy, the head of US northern command confirmed that 800 US troops were already en route to the Texas border. He added that 5,200 would be headed to the south-west region by the end of the week- raising the initial figures.
On Monday Trump warned that the military would be waiting. “Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our Southern Border,” Trump tweeted. “Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through the legal process. This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!” he added
