Donald Trump has blamed Clinton’s campaign for masterminding the sexual allegations against him.
Trump told reporters that the allegations were completely made up, and he believes Clinton’s campaign team are responsible for them. He promised to launch legal suits against them after the election.
Trump believes this may have been done in retaliation for him bringing 4 women out who accused her husband, Bill Clinton, of sexually assaulting them when he was in power. In one instance he was accused of raping one of the women. Trump said that the Clinton campaign had been calling Miss universe, and different women, with the objective of paying them to discredit and hurt his campaign.
DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE
The democratic nominee said it was painful to have these things said especially as his family would have heard about them through the media. However, experts say the burden of proof will be on Trump to demonstrate that all those women were lying. Further, a legal suit would put Trump’s sexual life and sexual past on the public platform, as lawyers probe him intensely. The sexual allegations against Trump were sparked after a videotape was released in which he bragged to have been able to touch women on the private parts without any objection because he was a star.
TRUMP DENIES ALLEGATIONS
That foolish statement may have prompted other women who felt he had behaved inappropriately towards them to come out. Trump has flatly denied the allegations, though it would be a catastrophic political suicide if he had admitted them. In theory, Trump could be a victim of a malicious set of sexual allegations designed to bring his already trailing campaign to its knees.
SEXUAL ALLEGATIONS STAGED
In reality, the chances are very remote that these women were all staged to openly concoct these sexual allegations against him. The risks would be too great for anyone to attempt to orchestrate such a scandalous move. Trump knows in his heart whether the allegations are true or whether he is being framed. All the evidence suggests that the allegations are consistent with the spirit of his bravado in the leaked video, though this doesn’t necessarily prove his guilt.
Hilary Clinton is currently ahead in the polls and looks almost certain to be the next U.S president, though Trump could still steal the show. We must wait for the final results before any degree of certitude can be established about the results of these elections. The shock Brexit outcome in the UK referendum is a useful point of reference for caution in this respect.
TRUMPS CAMPAIGN
Trump’s campaign yesterday announced that they have now employed a ”voters suppression tactics”, in which they target the groups they believe Clinton still needs to clinch the election. They then highlight excerpts from her past comments and use this to discredit her. One of such tactics is being used to target AFRO Americans by making a big deal of the fact Hilary Clinton once referred to black men as super predators. Clinton has apologised for any offence caused, stating this was not her intention. But Trump’s campaign team are the intent of making a bigger deal of it and urging Afro-American voters not to trust her.
CLINTON TO START WORLD WAR 3?
Trump recently announced that if Clinton is voted in power, she would definitely start world war 3 over her known plans to insist on a no-fly zone over Syria. The Clinton campaign called the tactic ”scaremongering” . It probably is scaremongering, but it could scare enough voters away from her to make this election closer than expected. Lots of things are in speculative mode at the moment, and we have just 2 weeks to find out who will enter the White House as the president to succeed Barack Obama.
