Taylor Swift has announced today that her latest album, 1989, will be available on Apple Music after her publicized disagreement with the start up tech company over free streaming was resolved. The multi-award winner revealed on twitter that after the events of the week, she had decided to put 1989 on apple music. “This is simply the first time it’s felt right in my gut to stream my album. I have decided to put 1989 on Apple. Thank you Apple, for your change of heart,” Swift says.

Swift stated that the deal is “not exclusive,” though this is no indication that her music will be heard on spotify after she withdrew her music from them last year because it wasn’t being paid for. “Swift had initially refused to release her album Red on Spotify, criticizing the fact that the artists receive between $0.006 and $0.0084 per song play.”

The decision of apple to stream Swift’s 2014 release is big and good for Apple in view of its upcoming launch. Apple clearly have a soft spot for the American singer, seeing how quickly they yielded to her insistence to pay royalties to indie artists less fortunate than her. Swift is an awesome artist with a hot character. As a teenager of 14, she became the youngest song writer ever, to be hired by the Sony/ ATV\ music publishing house, and also the youngest to be included on the Forbes most powerful women’s list. The Pennsylvanian born artist who has received 7 Grammy Awards and 22 Billboard awards, has been further blessed to receive the Nashville’s songwriter’s association and the songwriters hall of fame, and therefore a power to reckon with in the industry.

The sensational 25 year old singer performed at the Manchester arena on Wednesday for the first time since 2011, coming straight from a UK opener in Glasgow. She landed in style in her private jet and left via the same exclusive channel. Taylor Swift and her husband Calvin Harris have very recently dethroned Jay z and Beyonce as the best paid celebrity couple in the industry with joint annual earnings topping £146m, beating Jay z and bey who came second with £110m.
