Brazillian striker, Roberto Firmino has struck a £29m deal to join Liverpool at the end of the 2015 Cope America where he is representing his country. The brilliant striker who started his career with Figuerence in 2009 and made his international debut for Brazil in 2014, plays for club 1899 Hoffenheim and the national team as an attacking midfielder that causes harvoc to the defense of most opposition teams.

He will surely pose a credible threat to Sterling’s ratings in Liverpool even though he may play a good complementary role for Sterling who has been the subject of a number of failed bids in recent weeks and months. Firmino is undoubtedly better at setting up goals and scoring goals than Sterling, and should bring more to the table than his soon to be team mate who is currently estimated at £50m.Firmino joined Barcelona’s youth academy at the age of 9 where he made an impression and eventually went on to join the youth team.

Everton on the other hand have signed attacker Gerard Deulofeun from Barcelona for £4.2m. Deulofeun signing with Everton is for a 3 year deal with the option of extending his contract by 12 months. Deulofeun is good at winning matches, competent at free kicks and generally good at scoring goals. The fact it has cost Everton a lot less to get him may make them feel they have got the better deal than Liverpool did in getting Firmino.

Barca are said to have buy-back option at the end of 2 years, but it is likely Deulofeun will do the entire duration. Deulofeu is loved by Everton fans, may of whom are delighted with the news of his fixture. The young international who returned to Spain had been loaned to Sevilla, but he is back to where he will be most welcome
