Stormy Daniels Could Leave U.S If Trump Wins Hush Money Court Case

By Isabelle Wilson-

Barrett Blade, the husband of adult film star Stormy Daniels, has indicated that there is a “good chance” the couple will leave the United States if former President Donald Trump is acquitted in his criminal trial over hush-money payments.

Trump is facing allegations in court that he falsified business records in order to mask a hush money payment he arranged for Stormy Daniels to prevent the porn actress from speaking out about their alleged sexual affair.

Blade made these remarks during an interview with CNN host Erin Burnett on Tuesday.

“I think if it’s not guilty, we got to decide what to do. Good chance we’ll probably vacate this country,” Blade stated. He added that regardless of the trial’s outcome, Daniels faces significant public animosity: “If he is found guilty, then she’s still got to deal with all the hate.

I feel like she’s the reason that he’s guilty from all his followers, so I don’t see it as a win-win situation either way.”

Daniels recently testified in court about her alleged sexual affair with Trump, which she claims occurred nearly 20 years ago. Her testimony included vivid recollections of Trump’s inappropriate comments and behaviour, including comparing her to his daughter Ivanka and positioning himself between her and the door when she tried to leave his hotel room.

This case, a historical one involving a former U.S. president, centers around allegations that Trump, through his former lawyer Michael Cohen, paid Daniels $130,000 in hush money shortly before the 2016 presidential election. The prosecution alleges that Trump falsified business records by listing these payments as legal service fees.

Daniels’ testimony has been pivotal, though Trump’s defense has worked vigorously to discredit her. At one point, Trump’s lawyer Susan Necheles accused Daniels of fabricating stories about sex, to which Daniels retorted, “The sex in the films is very much real, just like what happened to me in that room.” She also firmly denied accusations of extortion.

Blade defended his wife against allegations that she concocted the affair for financial gain, emphasizing her integrity and literary talent. “I think she’s a brilliant writer. So she would have written something way better than what she said about the Trump story,” Blade asserted.

Expressing deep concern for Daniels’ well-being, Blade noted the ongoing personal toll of the legal battle. “She wants to move past this. We just want to do what normal people would get to do in some aspects, but I don’t know if that ever will be, and it breaks my heart,” he said, adding, “Everybody has their agenda for her at this point, and I don’t see people fighting back for her.”
