Shababs restaurant in Birmingham is to be fined 60000 pounds, after immigration officers arrested three illegal immigrants in a raid on a restaurant in spark hill.

Officers working alongside colleagues arrested three men, a 23 year old Pakistan man, a 36 year old Afghan man, and a 29 year old man.

Unless the restaurant can evidence precautionary measures in understanding pre-employment checks including home office documents confirming permission to work, they will be fined 20,000 pounds for each of the illegal workers caught.

Employers who hire illegal workers often undercut legal other employers and legal workers by paying them below the minimum wage. Such illegal workers are only to happy to work below the minimum wage since they are aware they have no permission to work.

Calculated and deceptive actions  of this nature by employers are extremely selfish and exploitative, as employers only have their own selfish interests at heart.  Their manipulative and short sighted inclinations also immorality affords them the flexibility of terminating their illegal employment at any time of their choosing.

It puts the illegal  workers at an incredible disadvantage, despite the risk they face of deportation, if caught. They often have to endure and tolerate an intolerable level of maltreatment. Employing illegal immigrants is also a means of tax evasion.

A 60000 pounds fine will be a heavy price
for the Shababs restaurant for simply refusing to operate legally and honorably. Most employers and Illegal workers are usually caught by someone reporting them to the law.

The same selfish and bullish attitude that motivates their illegal operation is usually extended and applied to their legal workers, who eventually get fed up and report them. This is because cheating employers like those at Shababs restaurant, usually lack principles and empathy. They lack wisdom too, or they would foresee the possibility of being reported.

When the eye of media.com approached bosses at Shababs restaurant, they declined to comment. Supposedly, they have a 60,000 pound fine to worry about.
