Racist Roy Larner escaped jail after admitting racially aggravated common assault and religiously aggravated harassment. The man once dubbed a hero after intervening in a brave confrontation against terrorists in the London Bridge attack was sentenced to 8 weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months, for spitting on a photographer. He was also fined £50 on Friday at the Inner London Court for his anti-Islamic abuse.
HEART
48-year-old Roy Larner had previously won the nation’s heart when he shouted ‘fuck you, I’m Millwall’, before being stabbed repeatedly by Islamic terrorists during the London Bridge and Borough Market terror attack on June. He later showed his true colours by exhibiting an alarming level of racism when he was filmed uttering despicable racists words to a group of protesters. in Elephant and Castle last February.
Larner’s prosecution in court was brought about after the eye of media.com called the Metropolitan police and insisted on a prosecution against him. The team was shocked nothing had been done about a level of racism caught on film. It was almost like watching a man commit a crime on film. but get away with prosecution because no action was taken.
London cops told the eye of media.com that no action had been taken against Larner because an official report had not been made about it. After an official complaint was made, Larner was arrested an charged with racially aggravated common assault.
The shameless racist bully had no concern he was being filmed when he continuously uttered racist words against the group of men. His racist tirade of hatred started on July 13, 2017, when he launched a sweeping attack on Muslims at a Labour MP’s office.
Prosecutor Carol Summers told the court: ‘On 13 July last year, it was around about midday that the defendant entered the office of his Labour MP, Neil Coyle. ‘He then spoke with a member of staff at the front door and said, “Sadiq Khan shouldn’t even be in the country,” and called him “a pile of sh-t”. Youth voter surge at the general election last year didn’t actually happen ‘The staff member said, “I’m a Muslim”.
The defendant went on to say that, “All Muslims are the same – scum,” he then referred to Muslims as being “pig eating c**ts”. ‘He made a shotgun shooting gesture with a rolled up newspaper towards the ground.’
Defense lawyer, Christopher Surtees-Jones, said Larner accepts ‘the words are disgusting and it is very, very wrong and he feels shame for his behaviour on these two occasions.’ Those are easy words that always come out of the mouth of defense barristers when clients have been caught failing in their duties.
Larner’s act of heroism during the London terrorist attacks is somewhat nullified because of his acts of racism. Despite his appreciated heroism at the time, his attack against the terrorists was motivated by his innate racist tendencies which we all were oblivious to. Admiration for his actions on a night in which 8 people were killed and 48 injured, precluded the knowledge that this man was evil and racist.
ANGER MANAGEMENT
He was ordered to take part in anger management and diversity awareness courses and he is banned from attending his local MP’s office for two years
“But then, ironically, you showed that you can bring great benefit because before you were arrested you became a national hero on 3 June.
“And of course you cannot use that for the rest of your life, but it is a side of your character that I must – and do – take into account.
“As you heard me say to your counsel, it is no excuse that you were a victim of a Muslim attack for you to behave in that way to people of the Muslim faith.”
NATIONAL FRONT
Prosecutor Carol Summers told Inner London Crown Court that dad-of-one Larner chanted “National Front” during the video filmed at an anti-Brexit rally in February last year. Theeyeofmedia.com asked the police to investigate whether Larner was indeed from the national front, and we still await a response.
Simmons added: “He seems to be on the pavement and he says, ‘F******g foreign c***s.’
“He then leans towards the black photographer and spits at him; his head is seen to thrust forwards.”
A month after the London Bridge attack Larner stormed into Labour MP Neil Coyle’s office in Brixton, South London to hurl the vile abuse and make a threatening gun gesture.
It was here he ranted about the Mayor of London and branded Muslim people as “scum” after a worker confronted him saying she followed Islam.
Ms Summers added: “The defendant went on to say that, ‘All Muslims are the same – scum'”.
Judge Nigel Seed QC told Inner London Crown Court: “Nobody should be subjected to the kind of racist abuse, also involving spitting, that this complainant was.
