A Connecticut man has died, leaving behind $12 m worth of Marijuana. the man, who was in Atlanta, Georgia, suddenly died mysteriously of natural causes.
Grinned County police were shocked to find 31 year old Johnny Taylor, slumped over near a white van tractor trailer. They were greeted by bags of marijuana in his van, the street value of 12m dollars.
Officers were searching for signs of foul play when they made the shocking discovery.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution recorded that the officers smelt marijuana. More weed was found in his trailer too. Strangely, they found no sign of foul play.
How a drug pusher could die so mysteriously with so much drugs waiting to be sold, is mysterious. Poisoning is a possibility that will be looked at. Drug dealing is known to be ravaged with turf wars and gang rivalry, but these death has none of the typical hallmarks of a gang killing. If he was poisoned by a rival, it may take an autopsy to reveal this, but the police so far have not established any clear motive pointing to foul play. It is strange for a man of 31 to just die like that unless there was something wrong with him not apparent to others.
Taylor was most certainly looking forward to enjoying the $12 m proceeds of the drugs under his charge. He would not have anticipated the manner of the untimely death that dealt him these cards. Though, even in the tragedy of his unexplained death, one can be forgiven for applying an interpretation of karma on the bizarre manner of his departure from this cruel world of extreme, and many times destructive influences. We may speculate that a worse death down the line may have awaited him, or that he may have caused the death of another.
All is speculation, but something strange has happened here that should in time unravel. $12m is a lot of money, so this guy will appear to have been linked to some heavy shots in the game. Did someone dubiously set him up in a way he didn’t see coming? Was his drink spiked, or did he simply have $12m worth of stress and pressure on his heart that forced it to give way? Grinned County police told the eye of media.com that he seemed to have died of natural causes, but they are keeping ”all lines of inquiry open” with respect to the circumstances and cause of the death.
Only if something poisonous is found in his system, will more suspicion arise. Whether he died of an overdose of drugs himself, or a poisoned drink, are all lines of inquiry that will be looked at closely as part of the examination. Cops have also taken Taylor’s phone, which they will study at length to establish his contacts and interactions, particularly on the day and day before his death. There will be a lot of lessons to learn from this death once all the facts are out. It will be one for the guinness books of records, if Taylor actually died of just natural causes, and there isn’t more to it.
Only drug dealers at the top end of the ladder ever get access to $12m worth of cannabis in one go. Some people fall into drug dealing out of desperation, and with a sincere desire to help themselves their families. The problem that often surfaces is that the journey is not as smooth as originally hoped or envisaged. There are often several hurdles to overcome. Some overcome them, many don’t. It’s a tough world in the drug culture. There are street codes and conduct of operation, snitching is not allowed, and robbery is rife but with consequences. A dealer can end up in serious conflict, simply by association too. Defending the rival of another dealer, can lead to bitterness and confrontation. Where that ends can never be predicted before hand. It all depends on the temperament and affiliations of particular individuals.
Death by poisoning is not a common method of killing in the drug world. It will be a chillingly sophisticated method of murder implemented by a smart killer, banking on beating the police. If this is the case here, then the killer would be someone who was in Taylor’s circle, or who found himself there. The confusing element about this evaluation is the question of why the marijuana was not robbed if a robbery was the purpose of a covertly planned killing. Only time will tell what really happened here.
