A man believed to have lost £5 m after swapping his lottery ticket for drugs money has been battling his suicide demons in an east London residence. The man who eye of media.com has been conditioned not to name lives in Chingford, but stays with his girlfriend in Wood-street in Walthamstow, where he has been surrounded by friends and family.
After winning £4m on the national lottery in 2014, he swapped his lottery ticket for £8m in cash- the proceeds of mass drug dealings earned by his elder brother. His brother, who will can only name as Shane, offered him more than twice the amount of the worth of his lottery win, in exchange for the legit cash from the lottery ticket.
Our sources told the eye of media.com that the lottery winner had spent about £2,000 pounds of the cash when he left the rest of the cash a friend’s home, near Wards wharf, close to London City Airport. The man’s plans was to invest about half of the money in drugs, the eye of media.com heard. Within two days, police suddenly raided his house and seized all £8m of the cash.
SHOCK
His heart nearly failed him for shock, when he discovered as he drove past the house there that police were in the property where he had kept the money. Refusing to be highlighted, he sped away from the scene, forfeiting the mind-boggling amount of loot in the process. He has since tried to commit suicide twice, and has become a chronic drunk, sometimes driving whilst drinking. His sister has now volunteered to drive him about to protect him from the harm he could bring to himself and other unsuspecting motorists.
CONFLICTING
Conflicting reports about why police targeted him have been given, with the view held by some among his circle of friends that he may have given untrue accounts to some people about what really happened. Some sayhe was set up by a jealous girlfriend, others say police stumbled on the cash after being tipped off my a camera crew recording baliffs at the address.
When our sources tipped the eye of media.com about this story, we were threatened not to release it, but our continuous insistence and negotiations resulted in an agreement to tell the story without their names unless the man self-destructs spectacularly.
The 30 -year-old father of one has since fallen out with his older brother, whom the eye of media.com hears packed up the drug dealing game in exchange for a a pad worth 700, 000 euros in the cosy island of Gran Canaris in Spain. His brother reportedly bought him a pad house worth £450,000 in Chingford, essex. When the eye of media.com contacted Shane on his mobile in Spain, he simply laughed and said ”no comment mate, no comment”.
SPLIT
Meanwhile the supposed lottery winner slit his wrist twice in 2014, but sought help to address his demons. Now, he drinks almost all day. Our source told the eye of media.com ” he is so stressed about this, he goes on about it all the time. He looks like he will drink himself to death, his brother has been a wxxxxx, an absolute wxxxxx”. However, nobody forced the lottery winner to fall for the trick and swap a legit £4m for an illegal £9m. This was greed beyond belief, he should have kept his legal lottery winnings. This sorry lottery winner, or should we say loser, is still hoping to retrieve at least £1m from his brother, and has gathered negotiators from his friends and family to try and negotiate an agreement.
His £4m lottery win is gone, and he has himself alone to blame for his miscalculations Next time, if next time comes, he will be wiser.
