LONDON — During a large-scale march organised by far-right figure Tommy Robinson in London on Saturday, Elon Musk appeared via video link, telling protesters they must “either fight back or you die.” Elon Musk’s ‘Fight Back or Die’ Remark at Tommy Robinson Protest Fuels Outrage.

The Metropolitan Police reported that 25 people were arrested and 26 officers were injured during the event, four of whom were seriously hurt. Police described the scenes as “unacceptable violence.”

Estimates for the “Unite the Kingdom” rally ranged from 110,000 to 150,000 attendees. On stage with Robinson, Musk also claimed that the UK needed a “dissolution of parliament” and a “change of government.”
Musk’s comments drew condemnation from political leaders. Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey stated that Musk “doesn’t care about the British people or our rights,” while a Labour source said that politicians who believe in democracy “should distance themselves from these disgusting comments.”
In a separate part of the city, around 5,000 people attended a counter-protest organised by Stand Up To Racism (SUTR). Over 1,000 police officers were deployed to prevent clashes between the two groups. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Keir Starmer was seen watching his favourite team, Arsenal, play a match in London on the same day.
