KLITSCHKO DISMISSES OUTRAGEOUS FURY AS HAVING THE BRAIN OF A SQUIRREL

BY ERIC KING

Reigning heavyweight world champion, Wladimir Klitschko has lambasted Britain’s Tyson Fury by saying he “has a brain the size of a squirrel’s” in response to Fury’s latest outburst in which he compared homosexuality to paedophilia.
Klitschko, who defends his WBA, IBF and WBO titles on the 28th of this month told the BBC “his comments make me sick,”
“They were disgusting and had nothing to do with the promotion. They just showed the true insides of Tyson Fury – he is unhappy.”Klitschko said it was “not smart” and “not good” for Fury to comment as he had”We live, thank God, in a democratic world and people have a right to an opinion,” he added. “But people need to respect each other.”For a long time now I have been observing opponents getting under their own skin,”

It was the case with David Haye but I’m a very good therapist and I made him a better person – he carries himself a lot better since I beat him.”Chaos means emotions and emotions are a downside in boxing. Tyson Fury is digging himself deeper and deeper. That’s good for me.”Klitschko also said that Britain’s Olympic super-heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, who has 14 knockouts from 14 pro fights, would beat Fury if they met, and added that David Haye would have knocked him out had their twice canceleld fight 2 years ago come off.

Fury has been very insolent and typically disrespectful in the build up to the fight against Klitschko, and most observers and members of the public find his general comments to be ridiculously over the top and extremely senseless. Haye who was similarly(but far less) disrespectful to Klitschko before his failed bid in 2009 has been far less scathing off Klitschko ever since his points defeat to the dignified champion who has not lost a fight in a decade. In the event of defeat, Fury will have to shut up or actually begin to look a mental case if he persists in his unrestrained antics of careless talking.

Unbeaten Fury is largely seen as a deluded fighter, who shoots from the heaps. He recently compared himself to Mohammed Ali, and is on record once saying he is the best fighter that ever lived. He also claimed Klitschko was scared to spar him when they met at Klitschko’s training camp when Fury was still a professional novice. In response to that, Klitschko said ”I just remember this extra ordinarily big man suddenly appearing in my gym”, Klitschko said. But he was way too young and Emmanuel Steward( Klitschko’s former trainer who passed away in 2012) was protecting him. It was my training camp, and in my training camp I am the chief executive. I could have damaged him mentally and physically”.

Klitschko is a heavy favourite to knock out Fury and send him into oblivion, the gypsy man will be damaged goods once he is convincingly beaten by the champion. The public, who have grown tired of many of the stupid sentiments that come of his mouth, would lose interest in him once he is beaten. Fury’s only thread of hope will be if he puts up a comptitive fight up until the point of defeat. On the strength of his past performances, Fury will be obliterated by Klitschko in embarassing fashion before the half way stage. A completely different Fury to what we have seen so far will have to turn up to give him even hope of making this fight interesting and competitive.
