Judge Tells Tyson Fury’s Brother Shane To Stay Out Of NightClubs

By James Simons-

The brother of former world heavyweight boxing champ Tyson Fury has been told to stay out of nightclubs by a judge , following a fight in the city centre.

25 year old Shane Fury from Cheshire was with his cousin Joseph Fury from Warrington at the Revolution Bar on Deansgate Locks when a fight took place.

The pair are said to have ‘raised the temperature’ in the venue by ‘pushing and shoving, and expressing abusive behaviour’. They also squabbled with doormen before being kicked out.

The pair later admitted public order offences in relation to the July 2014 bust-up.

The younger brother of notorious former world champion, Tyson Fury, Shane Fury told Manchester Crown court that he was often ‘targeted’ by others because of his physical size and family connections.

NightClubs

This may be true, but how he responds to  any unprovoked  behaviour from others is something that also defines his character.  Especially when in a night club environment, Fury should know there are people there drunk and high on drugs in night clubs  Let’s be positive and assume he was not also high on drugs like cocaine .His well known brother, Tyson Fury, has not exactly left a good reputation for him to ride on, leaving it up to him how to conduct himself in public. Tyson Fury’s boxing license was recently suspended after cocaine was found in his system and the Gypsy fighter admitting to indulging in ”lots of cocaine”.

If Shane is supportive to his brother, then we can assume Tyson Fury has sorted him out some cash to further his goals. In which case he should have the mentally engaged with his pursuits enough to rise above any provocation he faces.  This assumption ofcourse may be misguided as stranger things have been seen in families. Shane Fury works seasonally as an airport car parking assistant, and part-time with the family landscaping business.  Shane Fury and night clubs probably don’t go together.

Tyson Fury postponed his first rematch date with Wladimir Klitschko when he sprained his ankle after trying to jump over a hurdle at a night club.

Shane Fury must now stay away from night clubs and choose somewhere else to party. Perhaps he can party with his brother, who has loads of cash to sustain an ongoing indoor party with lots to keep them entertained.

The fact that Shane Fury was accused of pushing and shoving and being abusive behaviour shows him to have been an active participant in the build up to the melee.  He sustained injuries.

Incident

Judge Tony Cross QC said the Furys ‘raised the temperature’ of the incident.

“It must have been terrifying for young people, on their first night out in Manchester at Revolution, to see fellows of this size behaving badly”, the judge said.

Mitigating for Shane Fury, David Temkin said his behaviour was ‘spontaneous rather than planned’, and that he had been injured in the melee. But he accepted that he ‘must have encouraged the violence by others to continue’ with his behaviour.

“This evening is not representative of my client’s lifestyle”, Mr Temkin told  the court. “He’s a working man with a young family.”
