By Alexander Wilson-
A man who helped invent mRNA vaccine technology and has 500,000 followers on the platform has been kicked of twitter for posting an alleged misinformation about his own accomplishment.
Robert Malone , a medical doctor and infection researcher spoke out publicly about his views on mass coronavirus vaccination and shared a negative video about the alleged effects of Pfizer vaccine and its alleged harmful effects. His account was suspended, given the weight of influence his criticism can have on skeptics.
The researcher has recently suggested the idea that vaccines can actually worsen the coronavirus, and earlier this year said that ”vaccines cause more harm than experts are letting on; Fauci is a liar and possibly a fascist; and the mainstream news media is either shamelessly complicit or too stupid to figure out what’s really going on”.
His criticism was direct and without concern, eventually costing him his platform on twitter, but will also gravitate some people towards his ideology because of his contribution to the vaccine.
Dr. Malone claims to have been involved in the development of mRNA vaccine technology, and co-authored a paper about it alongside Dr. Katalin Karikó and Dr. Drew Weissman in the 1980s. However, he is not credited as its sole or main contributor.
Dr. Malone’s warning that, in his view, mass vaccination shouldn’t be taking place because not enough testing has been conducted will attract people who share his thinking. His main objection was about the vaccination of children, despite the multiple experiments said to have been conducted on children in other parts of the world.
l Malone supports vaccines as a medical doctor but is critical of the process through which the United States government has brought mRNA Covid-19 vaccines to market from Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna. He says “have been detrimental and contrary to globally accepted standards for developing and regulating safe and effective licensed products.”
The decision to expel Dr Malone from twitter appears excessive and contrary to the rights of freedom of expression, since his audience have independence of thought whether to agree with him or not. His view that testing on vaccines is inadequate is his perception, but twitter chiefs considered his words as actively working against the vaccination drive.
After his account was banned, Dr. Malone took to other forms of social media to question his suspension, declaring that such an action meant his thoughts ‘must have been on the mark, so to speak’.
He stated:
”It also means we lost a critical component in our fight to stop these vaccines being mandated for children and to stop the corruption in our governments, as well as the medical-industrial complex and pharmaceutical industries.
Following his ban, Dr. Malone has advertised an upcoming appearance on Joe Rogan‘s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, in which he is set to continue his discussion of the vaccine.
Many will no doubt want to hear him when he appears on Rogan’s podcast. He may become a more aggressive critic of vaccines there.
