By Charlotte Webster-
Donald Trump jr has joined several spiteful Americans in sending Hilary Clinton an unwelcome happy birthday criticism on her 70th birthday.
The son of the U.S president screen-shotted a year-old tweet she posted during the campaign season, calling her arrogant.
Trump Jr. took a screen-shot of a tweet from Oct 26 in which Clinton’s account tweeted out a school-age photo of the then-presidential candidate and wrote, “Happy birthday to this future president.” Trump Jr. wrote, “A year later the arrogance and entitlement in this tweet is exactly why it was never going to happen. #maga.”
The son of the American president did not stop there. Trump Jr. went further to post a message that read “Happy birthday Hillary.” with the cake emoji and linked to a Fox & Friends tweet about the Department of Justice and the “Russian uranium deal” from 2010 that Republican lawmakers have decided to investigate.
Clinton had received several unfavorable tweets deriding her for failing at the 2016 U.S elections, with no heart or sensitivities to her feelings. The wife of former U.S president, Bill Clinton, had herself only sent one tweet out on her birthday this year has so far been a call to action regarding health care. “Children are going to lose their health care,” she wrote in a response to a tweet about the loss of CHIP funding. “No one should want that. Call your member of Congress and tell them to act: 202-224-3121.”
One spiteful tweeter said ”Happy birthday Hillary – I’m sorry world leaders and corrupt Governments wont be giving you birthday bribes this year, Several trolls seized the opportunity to tease the former presidential candidate, and she had no power to stop them. It was confirmation of the extent of despise and disregard many have for Clinton, who had been favorite to win the elections before Wikileaks hijacked it by printing several revelations about Clinton using a private server. Wikileaks founder, Assange also tweeted Clinton, making one wonder how much it takes for people to understand how unhealthy provocative tweets can be.
Something needs to be done to regulate tweet messages sent to owners of an account because the whole social media avenue is too susceptible to abuse. No human being deserves that amount of ridicule on their birthday, especially at the ripe old age of 70. The tweets are very thoughtless, insensitive, and uncaring. Whatever Clinton’s faults or weakness, she has suffered enough after the expensively strenuous and unsuccessful campaign she heartily fought last year, only for President Trump to steal the show at the last minute. She is a woman, she is human, there should greater considerations for her feelings as a human being. Human beings should be more thoughtful even to people they do not like or whose policies they don’t share.
On behalf of the eye of media.com, we wish Hilary Clinton a happy birthday, and many more happy years to come. Losing a presidential election is not the end of the world
