A documentary that details an interview with former Russian whistleblower, Litvinenko, will air tonight on channel 4 in the UK.
Litvinenko, who was poisoned, claimed he was sacked and jailed when he refused to do a mission for Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
He and his family eventually got asylum in Britain. Pictures of the whistleblower were publicized worldwide, but those close to the investigation say the pictures don’t tell the whole story.
Litvinenko’ s throat is said to have been blistered, and he could hardly talk or swallow.
KILLED
The whistleblower claims to have once killed a high businessman under the instructions of Vladimir Putin, and further says he was promoted for it.
His decision to expose Putin’s regime is the motive he gives for his poisoning, and ultimate murder.
Sad and depressing, there is no way Putin’s regime will accept responsibility for the murder.
EVIDENCE
They will ask for evidence. Not everything can be proved, but it is also true that there is no evidence suspicion about Putin’s guilt is true.
Someone else high up there could have ordered Litvinenko’ s murder, especially if Litvinenko had other enemies.
The Russian government will be right to say there is no evidence of they were behind the murder, but the general belief is that they were responsible for his death.
The documentary airs at 9 pm on Channel 4 tonight.
