The Chris Evans sex allegation collapsed because his victim dropped the case. The Sun Newspaper reported today, Saturday that the alleged victim felt “intense emotional pressure”.
Cops felt no choice but to drop the case against the television and radio presenter. The complainant, a television producer, complained that 50-year-old chris Evans had grabbed her breasts and continuously exposed himself to her whilst they worked together on Channel 4’s big breakfast show in the 90’s.
Evans strenuously denied the claims, claiming to be the victim of a witch hunt.He was questioned last Thursday by the detectives from the Met police Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child abuse command.
The Sun reported that a source claimed she felt very isolated and vulnerable. Nobody else came out to make allegations against Evans, the source said:join the end it was always going to be her word against his”.
Isolation and vulnerability is common in cases of allegations against celebrities whose money, power, and influence can be quite intimidating.
Other parties often get involved in speaking to the victim until the victim feels totally without support. When Evans case was dropped, nine if the publications reporting the case stated th e circumstances under which it was dropped.
The general statement that went out quoted police sources citing lack of evidence to take the case forward. However, the full truths that the woman had withdrawn her pursuit of charges for that same reason.

When asked how he was feeling after the dropped case “Evans replied “All I want to say is I thank my family. And my family and I thank my friends and my family for being rock solid throughout”.
We would have preferred Evans to rebuke the female complainant for making up such a vicious allegation against him. We are not impressed!
