Perhaps in hindsight,  the Samaritan should not have expected payment from two distraught teenagers whose vehicle had just fallen into the ditch. Whatever the lesson, the murder was most brutal and inhumane, how can a request for 20 dollars lead to murder?

In a horrifying killing that shows some of the heartlessness of these teens, the killers then drove Garnett’s car six miles away where they were eventually caught by police.

Affidavit court details reveal that the men were caught when a woman called police to complain that two men were driving her car without her permission.

Garnett’s family were in court and called the boys cowards, according to Post And Courier
They may face the death penalty.

The senseless murder makes people less inclined to stop and help their fellow man, if good will can end up so tragically like this.

Though it may be that the violent thugs saw the request of 20  dollars as not being good willed.
