The value of CCTV has long been instrumental in catching criminals who proceed under the illusion that they can do what they like and get away with it. The reality is that no amount of precautionary steps taken by criminals can guarantee that they will escape detection when they decide to selfishly deprive others of their hard earned cash.
These two criminals were ambitious in believing they could burgle a property and get away with two cars, but they had visited a shop prior to their unwise adventure. They manage to make away with a white and black Range Rover Evoque, and a black Audi TT Convertible after breaking into the property in Freichis Close, Wickford, in the early hours of the morning between 1 and 2 a.m today.
Anyone who has purchased a car and had it stolen, knows too well the pain that follows. Many immediate plans go out of the window, and the owners will have a long wait to claiming back any insurance, whilst two selfish lads either try and pretentiously own a car they did not buy, or attempt to sell it.
