A dumb robber forced himself into a store at a Sainsbury’s police station and got away with a substantial amount of cash after threatening staff there with a screwdriver.Both police and staff at the store have been decoy about the precise amount of cash he stole, but this man will certainly be on a spending spree, and will be stupid enough to boast about it to someone. Who is he?
One would expect even the most stupid of thieves to be aware of the widespread presence of cameras at all stores and petrol stations, but this guy clearly has a brick in his brains. The dumb ass walked into the shop in Colton, believing that the hood he wore will provide indefinite cover for his identity.
Brandishing a screwdriver, he held it to the victim’s neck and demanded money, before proceeding to assault her.
Detective Constable Sarah Banks, of Leeds CID, said:
“This was a frightening experience for the two female members of staff who were working at the time and we would urgently like to hear from anyone who thinks they know who this man might be or who saw someone fitting his description in the area at the time.”
The robber was white, in his late twenties to early thirties, about 5ft 8ins tall and slim. He had fair or ginger hair and blotchy skin with acne scarring around his eyes. With such horrible skin ravaged with acne, he must be an angry man without the brains to get on with life free of committing crime.
The sooner he is caught, the better.
