Brits Conscious Of Weight Are Avoiding Bread

By Charlotte Webster-

Many brits conscious of their weight are completely avoiding bread.

Bread is known for its very high level of carbohydrates, with each slice loading with at least 15 g of carbohydrates , which turn to fat.  A number of people are increasingly avoiding bread in what is almost a new craze among women determined to get their weight down.

In the last week alone, I have heard of five different women who have vowed never to touch bread again , as they push for  a completely healthy lifestyle aimed at keeping their weight down.

Bread and rice are seen as the main threat to maintaining a healthy figure , although chocolates , biscuits and pizza, are also extremely unhealthy too
The body needs some level of carbohydrates, but bread carries an awful lot. After three slices of bread, the body has stored 45 g of carbs in a single sitting, which if not broken down with exercise , stores plenty of unwanted fat, and also ages the skin.

MISCONCEPTION

A misconception in many circles is that burning bad food through walking is sufficient exercise. This couldn’t be further from the truth because walking long distances cannot and does not compensate for the lack of rigourous exercise. Walking serves some positive physical purpose , but not one that equates jogging, running, press ups and sit ups, by any stretch of the imagination.

Men are also avoiding bread, but most men eat anything that can enter their mouths. 25 year old Matt Riley, told the eye of media.com” I haven’t touched  bread at all for the past 4 months, and lots of my mates don’t either. Bread is bad for you full stop, all it does is mess up the skin”.

Most consumers of bread combine it with butter , which worsens the fat intake .  Most sandwiches sold in shops are very unhealthy too , with additives like mayonnaise raising the fat level because of the sugar and fat content out there.
