Ofsted, the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills, is on the hunt for a new National Director of Education, as the current director, Chris Russell, (pictured)prepares to step down from his role.
This development marks a significant change in the leadership of the organization, and it comes with a set of responsibilities and challenges that the incoming director will need to address.

The job advertisement for the National Director of Education role comes with a competitive starting salary of £123,500, reflecting the importance of the position within Ofsted’s hierarchy.
The selected candidate will be entrusted with several key responsibilities.
The new director will be tasked with overseeing the enhancement and evolution of Ofsted’s inspection methodology across all stages of education.
