Boris Johnson plans to increase the number of women in full cabinet positions and raise the representation of ethnic minorities, it has been revealed.
His decision to increase the diversity of his cabinet is a smart one at this initial stage of government, but will not remove the doubts surrounding his ability to lead the country effectively. The Tory party like the Labour party, already has a reputation for being racist, an image that has followed them for a while. Mr Johnson still cannot be criticised for raising the number of women and ethnic minorities in his team, it at least presents him as one willing to address those concerns.
The new prime minister takes office on Wednesday afternoon following an audience with the Queen at Buckingham Palace. Once he enters Downing Street, he will announce a clutch of senior cabinet posts, including chancellor of the exchequer and home secretary.
Sources close to Mr Johnson say his top team will reflect “modern Britain”. Critics have already doomed mr Johnson’s government because of his steadfast decision to leave the EU by October 31st at the latest. EU chiefs have already said they will not change the withdrawal agreement they made with Theresa May, but some have expressed a willingness to extend the deadline offered to the Uk. No matter how closely Johnson may incidentally have a similar image as Trump and blend with the American president well, but he cannot want that level of controversy to accompany his premiership of Britain.
Experts predict an inescapable disaster under Johnson leadership which they expect to come crashing . Johnson probably has the know how to prove them wrong, but his critics think he is on a doomed mission with The EU. Johnson thinks otherwise and believes Britain will be stronger out of The EU. and will be free to trade with the rest of the world. EU senior officials have Derided Johnson, and accused him of deliberately fooling The British public on matters of fact, something Johnson denies was intentional.
The test of his premiership’s success will be long term in reality, but people will still observe what happens in the short term. His radical determination to push Brexit through in October is one of the things that attract some of his supporters to him. Many more will say he should be able to negotiate with the EU, but Johnson may prefer them to come to the negotiating table or just watch Britain leave The EU just like that . The problem is if such a step by Johnson will be suicidal to the c
