Notorious Landlord: Essex Police Have Incestuous Relationship With Southend Council

By Gavin Mackintosh-

Essex notorious landlord, Robert Crow says Essex police has an incestuous relationship with Southend Borough Council with whom he is locked in a legal battle.

His claim is without evidence, but borne out of a deep frustration with the police’s refusal to act in removing his residents whom he says are not permitted to be there by the courts.

Whilst he disputes the court’s decision, the 70 year old embattled landlord says he is about to file a complaint to the chief commissioner of police, complaining of bias against him, and reckless endangering of his life by a violent thug residing at his property.

Mr.crow, due in court on the 17th of May for allegedly breaching a criminal behavioural order(CBO), says the police has done nothing to support his efforts to evict residents at his property who have refused to leave on his orders.

Mr. Crow and a number of his residents were terrified last week when a drunk who resides at his property damaged his front door after kicking it violently because the man’s electricity and water supply had been disabled. The widely disliked landlord in his neighbourhood pulled the plug on the 6ft 6 inches Lithuanian man in his late 30’s after requests for rent had been ignored, despite the fact the man works .

DRUNKEN

Essex police attended the property 3 times in one night, but failed to arrest the man who was in a drunken state and had damaged the door enough for it to open slightly. Rather than arrest the  drunken man, he was urged to go somewhere else for the night, and driven to destination where he said his auntie  lived.

However, the man came back two more times that night to repeat the disturbance that kept one of his neighbours up until 2.30 am that morning, forcing her to call the police again. The man was never arrested for his drunken and violent act, rather mr.Crow was told to pursue a section 8 through the courts to get him out.

Crow, who had one of his flats repossessed last week by Bank Of Ireland has been left fuming at his treatment, and believes he is the victim of a prejudicial attack by Essex police and Southend Borough Council. He told The Eye Of Media.Com:

”I feel like I am being demonised by a bunch of incompetent professionals who are hell bent on persecuting me at all costs. This is corruption at its worst. The police are definitely biased against me and everyone is watching them fail to fulfil their duty to protect the public.

CAMPAIGN

”The campaign by Southend Council to bankrupt me is the reason I have lost one of my flats worth about £170,000. I have to contest the decision for the courts to take my flat when I couldn’t afford to pay for it, at the same time as struggling to maintain the others.

They say I am not meant to have anyone round here on the one hand, but on the other hand, they refuse to eject them at my request. I believe they are working with Southend Borough Council to see me buried in the courts without just course. The guy is working and earning a living refusing to pay me, but still living here. This is wrong, someone  needs to do something about it”.

An Essex police officer said that mr.Crow’s  call to assist eviction has been  related to want of payment from his residents which they view  as a civil matter. They say he wilfully allowed residents at his property long after the criminal behaviour order forbidding him from having there.

Another  officer spoken to by this publication admitted  police were in error not to have arrested the violent resident when they were called three times in one night. Essex police today told The Eye Of Media.Com they would be looking into mr.Crow’s complaint.
